Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and actor best known for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and was raised at Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. She was a troubled child. young life caring for her younger sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. When she was growing up it was not easy to get along between her mother and father. Sheryl says that at one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was being too close with her. Sheryl became a member of the military right after her graduation from the college. Her passions were in comedy. She became the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She began her TV professional career in 1992 when she appeared as a frequent performer on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. The show has also featured her as host of The Talk since 2011. She has played in fictional show including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
