Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google and was born in Madurai in India.[4] Pichai received his diploma in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He earned an M.S. in the United States after relocating to the United States. After moving to the United States and completing an M.S. in materials science and engineering at Stanford University. Following a brief stint at McKinsey and Co. as a management consultant Pichai was employed by Google in 2004 to lead the innovation and product management for several Google's clients products. This comprised ChromeOS and ChromeOS. Additionally, he was the manager of Google Drive. Pichai also managed the development of Google Maps, Gmail, and other apps. Pichai first introduced WebM in 2010, and also announced the open-sourcing of the new codec for video VP8 developed by Google. 2012 saw the release of Chromebook. In 2013 Pichai added Android to the catalog of Google products he oversees.
